We value our customer care and believe that each of our pieces tells a story, reflecting our customers' personalities and style. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Hannah May Jewelry, concerning your access to and use of the hannahmay.co website, as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, our “Sites”). You agree that by accessing our Sites, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS OF USE, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING our Sites AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on our Sites from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference.We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms of Service at any time and for any reason. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms of Service to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Terms of Service by your continued use of our Sites after the date such revised Terms of Service are posted.
The information provided on our Sites is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction or country. Accordingly, those persons who choose to access our Sites from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
Our Sites are not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), etc.), so if your interactions would be subjected to such laws, you may not use our Sites. You may not use our Sites in a way that would violate the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

Our Sites are intended for users above the age of 16 years old.
USER ACCOUNTS AND PURCHASES
It may be necessary for you to create an account on our site when making a purchase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. We hold the authority to delete, reclaim, or modify a username you have chosen if we, at our sole discretion, find that the username is unsuitable, offensive, or in any way objectionable.
Purchase Guidelines and Terms
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment in the form of Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Venmo, Meta Pay and others as we may determine from time to time.
You commit to providing up-to-date, complete, and accurate information for all purchases made through our sites, including your account details. You also agree to promptly update your account and payment details, such as your email address, payment method, and the expiration date of your payment card, to enable us to process your transactions and communicate with you as necessary. Sales tax may be applied to your purchases as we deem necessary. Note that we may modify our prices at any time. All payments should be made in the specified currency or currencies listed on our sites.
You consent to pay all applicable charges for your purchases at the current prices, including any shipping fees. You authorize us to bill the payment provider you have selected for these amounts at the time you place your order. We also reserve the right to rectify any pricing errors or inaccuracies, even if payment has already been requested or received.
We maintain the authority to reject any order made through our sites. In our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities bought per individual, per household, or per order. These limits may apply to orders by or associated with the same customer account, the same method of payment, and/or orders that share a common billing or shipping address. We also reserve the right to refuse or restrict orders that, in our own judgment, seem to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
Shipping and Processing Times:
Tracking your order
Once your order has been processed and ready to be shipped you will receive an email with your tracking number. The carrier can take 1-2 business days to register your shipment status. Please note that we cannot redirect your package after this point.
How much does shipping cost in the U.S?
Standard shipping is FREE for all orders above $50. Items will arrive within 1-5 business days after processing and shipping. Two-Day Expedited shipping is offered for $30 and will arrive within 2 business days after processing and shipping. Orders will be shipped through USPS.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) with Standard Shipping Method will be processed and shipped within 2-4 business days once your payment method has been authorized. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will begin processing the following business day. Customers will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when the order has shipped.
For special items that are custom or made to order, please allow an additional 3-5 days for production. Any backordered or made-to-order pieces are noted on its product page, so be sure to shop accordingly if you need your jewelry by a certain time. If you need your jewelry sooner, please send me a message, I am happy to accommodate.
How fast is shipping?
The following U.S. domestic shipping methods are offered through USPS:
- Standard: Will arrive in 1-5 business days after processing and shipping
- Two-Day Expedited: Will arrive within 2 business days after processing and shipping
Can I order multiple items to different shipping addresses?
Unfortunately, we are only able to accept one shipping address per order. If you need items to ship to different addresses, please place them as separate orders.
Do you ship internationally?
Please shop off of our Etsy site if you would like an order shipped internationally: Shop Etsy. We offer international shipping on Etsy for a fee of $24. International orders take 6-10 business days to deliver after processing and shipping.
I’m having issues tracking my package
Sometimes, the carrier takes 1-2 business days to register your shipment status. If your tracking number isn’t updating after this time, contact us at hannahmayjewelry@gmail.com.
Please note the following
- Hannah May is not liable for lost shipments once tracking has stated the package has been delivered.
- We are not able to redirect your package once shipped.
- We cannot change your delivery address once the item has been shipped and you receive a tracking number.
- We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
Returns and Refund Policy:
What is your return policy?
We are confident that you will fall in love with your new Hannah May jewelry, but if for some reason you feel like it is not the right fit for you, we are happy to issue a refund, exchange or store credit. Please email us at hannahmayjewelry@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order to initiate a return. We ask that you send the jewelry back with everything included. Refunds will not be issued for damaged, altered or worn items. Please note that all custom made items designed outside of the original listings are final sale. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping for returns and exchanges.
We will replace any jewelry that is broken upon arrival free of charge as long as it is documented and emailed to us within 14 days of arrival. We will cover the cost of shipping for broken items.
What do I do if my jewelry is defective or I received the wrong item?
Please email us at hannahmayjewelry@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery if your jewelry is defective or the wrong item was received. We will happily replace any broken items free of charge as long as there is proof of damage. Once damage is confirmed, we will send the correct item and ask for the package to be kindly returned with everything included. We will send a prepaid label to cover the cost of shipping.
What if I need to get a piece repaired?
Please reach out to hannahmayjewelry@gmail.com regarding a repair. If something breaks within a 3 month period and it was not mishandled or misworn, we will happily repair the item free of charge. We may have to bill for beads and or findings that were needed in order to replace broken or lost ones. Some items are one of a kind and cannot be replaced. All gemstones are limited in stock and should be treated with care.
USER CONDUCT
You may not access or use our Sites for any purpose other than that for which we make our sites available. Our Sites may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.
As a user of our Sites, you agree not to:
- Engage in the systematic extraction of data or content from our Sites to create or compile, directly or indirectly, any kind of collection, compilation, database, or directory without our express written consent.
- Utilize our Sites for any unauthorized purposes, including the collection of usernames and/or email addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email, or creating user accounts through automated processes or under false pretenses.
- Employ the services of a buying or purchasing agent to conduct transactions on our Sites.
- Use our Sites for the purpose of advertising or offering goods and services for sale.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of our Sites, or features that restrict the use or copying of any content, or enforce limitations on the use of our Sites and/or the content therein.
- Engage in unauthorized framing of, or linking to, our Sites.
- Deceive, defraud, or mislead us and other users, particularly in any attempt to obtain sensitive account information such as user passwords.
- Improperly use our support services, or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct.
- Participate in any automated system activities, such as using scripts to send comments or messages, or using data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools on our Sites.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on our Sites or the networks or services connected to our Sites.

- Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees engaged in providing any part of our Sites to you.
- Remove copyright or other proprietary rights notices from any content on our Sites.
- Copy or adapt the software of our Sites, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of our Sites or alters, impairs, disrupts, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of our Sites.
- Upload or transmit any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, such as clear graphics interchange formats ("gifs"), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or similar devices.
- Use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including spiders, robots, cheat utilities, scrapers, or offline readers that access our Sites, or use any unauthorized script or other software.
- Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or our Sites.
- Use our Sites in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unless specified otherwise, our Sites and all their components, including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics (collectively known as the “Content”), and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”), are our exclusive property or are under our control or licensed to us. They are safeguarded by copyright and trademark laws, as well as other intellectual property rights and laws against unfair competition from Canada, the United States, international copyright statutes, and global agreements. We retain all rights not explicitly granted to you regarding our Sites, the Content, and the Marks.
PRODUCTS
We strive to present the colors, features, specifications, and details of our products on our website with the highest accuracy. However, we cannot assure that these descriptions will always be entirely accurate, complete, reliable, up-to-date, or free from other errors. Additionally, the actual colors and details of the products may not be exactly as shown on your electronic display. Availability of all products is subject to change, and we cannot guarantee their continuous availability in stock. We also reserve the right to cease offering any product at any time and for any reason. Furthermore, please note that prices of all products are subject to change.

THIS APPLIES TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICE, ANY MATERIALS OR CONTENT ON THE SERVICE, OR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY OR OTHER PRIVACY OR DATA SECURITY ISSUES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 19.4, AND TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF HANNAH MAY JEWELRY AND ITS AFFILIATED ENTITIES FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PART OF THE SERVICE, PRODUCTS, OR THESE TERMS, INCLUDING CLAIMS RELATED TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY OR OTHER PRIVACY OR DATA SECURITY ISSUES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO HANNAH MAY JEWELRY FOR PRODUCTS OR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICE IN THE MONTH PRIOR TO THE EVENT OR CIRCUMSTANCES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) $200.
EACH PROVISION OF THESE TERMS THAT PROVIDES FOR A LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES, OR EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES IS DESIGNED TO ALLOCATE THE RISKS BETWEEN THE PARTIES UNDER THESE TERMS. THIS RISK DISTRIBUTION IS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARTIES. EACH OF THESE PROVISIONS IS SEPARABLE AND INDEPENDENT FROM ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF THESE TERMS. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION 17 WILL APPLY EVEN IF ANY LIMITED REMEDY SPECIFIED IN THESE TERMS FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without consideration of conflict of law principles. Both you and our Sites agree to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts and federal courts situated within Connecticut for the resolution of any legal actions or proceedings allowed under these Terms. Our service is operated from our offices in Connecticut, and we do not imply that the materials provided in the service are suitable or available for use in other regions.
CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
Hannah May Jewelry may update or alter any of the terms in these Terms & Conditions at any point. Such changes will take immediate effect upon their posting. By continuing to access or use our Sites, you are implicitly agreeing to these changes. It is your responsibility to frequently check these Terms & Conditions, along with any additional terms or notices that may appear on our Sites.
